Game Report by Soccer United:

Turn-Key Controls 2 vs. Soccer United 1: On a dry, sunny evening at Kelowna City Park, both teams welcomed young, new faces, despite missing some key players. A 0-0 deadlock at half time went contrary to the wide open play with near misses and key saves from both sides. Fittingly, Soccer United went up 1-0 at the 55th minute mark when Craig Rasmussen's cross from the far right into the 6 yard box was headed in by Andrew Hughes. Being quick learners, Vernon's Turn-Key took Control with a couple of headers of their own. At the 65th minute mark, John Orton got off his Camel and onto his horse and headed straight up... Game Report by Turn-Key Controls:

The new look Turn-Key squad started off the season with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Soccer United. Turn-Key, playing without several key players while also trying to fit in four new players, found it hard to get into any rhythm in the first half. Miscommunication on both ends of the pitch led to wide open opportunities back and forth, but somehow the first half ended without any score. Just when it looked like Turn-Key was settling down in the second, Soccer United opened the score with a great header after a perfect cross from the end-line. Turn-Key, inspired by Man of The Match Ian Butler, regrouped and started... Read Full Report

Game Report by Real JVL:

Some new bodies combined with many regular players missing the game, made for some spotty play from Real JVL. The Mules were able to take full advantage with a 2-0 win.

Game Report by R&B Rented Mules:

Rookie Brad Conlin sent Harry DeHaas in on a breakaway, and Harry was able to push the ball past the hard charging keeper and put the ball in the empty net.
In the second half, veteran Steve Wilson showed he still had tricks up his sleeve as he bent a free kick around the wall and into the top corner of the net.
Shutout earned by Mules keeper Blair Forrest.

Game Report by Brandt's Creek:

Brant’s creek and Browns played an interesting game on Monday. The first half was very tight with Brandt’s holding the edge and justifying that with a “ new improved and faster” Brad Grainge blast when put through on a tight angle which was always against him. It was 1-0 at half time.
Browns half time break was what they needed to get there heads together and changed formation. In the second half Browns applied heavy pressure to begin but it was a classic counter attack that got the score level. Browns manager cried “Attack, Attack, Attack Attack Attack ,and they did and went ahead through a slightly miss hit... Read Full Report

Game Report by Brown Benefits:

Brown Benefits were made to work for their 5-1 victory over the ever-resilient Brandt's Creek.

The first half was played relatively evenly, with Browns holding a slight edge of the play. However, last year’s champs were unable to penetrate the Brandt’s wall of defenders. With 10 minutes to go in the half, a quick Brandt’s counterattack led to Brad Grainge finding space and then the top corner on a rocket that broke through the netting.

In the second half, Browns altered their game plan and increased their work rate, and started to dominate play and possession. An equalizer came 8 minutes... Read Full Report

Game Report by Bosman:

Bosman Accounting played against Mission Cleaners at Mac Donald Park in Vernon. Bosman has a lot of new additions to the team and it was obvious that the team didn't have playing minutes together. Some good combinations, but not as fluent as the young and always strong Mission team. It was 0-4 at half time and the end result was 0-5. Bosman got better during the game and ended the last 15 minutes with a lot of pressure on the Mission defense. Keeper Yogi Kongsdorff had a few brilliant saves, but man of the match for the accountants was right back Alex Yakovlev with a lot of great tackles and interceptions and good passing.

Game Report by Mission Cleaners:

Mission Cleaners started the game fast with a quick goal and continued the first half with heavy pressure. By the end of the first half Mission Cleaners had a solid 3 goal lead. In the second half it was Bosmans turn to put the pressure on and put Mission Cleaners on its heals. Mission Cleaners held and the half continued with back and forth play. Mission Cleaners did manage two more goal to finish the game.
Martin Jakobsson in net had the shut out
Gigi Moldovan, steve sankey, chris messent, with a goal and Dave Jenkinson with 2.
